J.B. Pritzker Co-Founder and Managing Partner of The Pritzker Group

J.B. is also the founder of New World Ventures, the leading venture capital firm in the Midwest has been a leading proponent of entrepreneurship and a stronger technology sector focus in the region. In 2012, he founded 1871, Chicago’s new digital startup center and was appointed by Mayor Rahm Emanuel to lead ChicagoNEXT, Chicago’s innovation and technology council. He also co-founded the public/private Illinois Innovation Accelerator Fund and helped start Excelerate Labs and BuiltInChicago.org. He played an important role in the creation of the Illinois Venture Capital Association, the nation’s top regional private equity association, and the Chicagoland Entrepreneurial Center, the leading regional advocate for entrepreneurs. He is president of the J.B. and M.K. Pritzker Family Foundation, one of the country’s leading supporters of early childhood education. He is a trustee of Northwestern University and the Field Museum of Natural History, a member of the Economic Club of Chicago and the Commercial Club of Chicago, and chairman of the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center. He holds an A.B. in political science from Duke University and a J.D. from Northwestern University. He is also a Retrofit client.

Larry Levy CEO of Levy Organization

Larry is also Managing Partner of principal investment company Levy Family Partners and is an investor in Retrofit Weight Loss. He is best known as Founder and Chairman of Chicago-based Levy Restaurants, including acclaimed restaurants Spiaggia in Chicago and Fulton’s Crab House in Orlando. The company has pioneered the concept of catering in stadiums, arenas and convention centers. The firm’s high-profile clients include the leading market share of professional football, baseball, hockey and basketball organizations, and marquee events such as the Kentucky Derby, the Grammy Awards, major sports finals and All-Star games. He is a Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management graduate and the 2001 Ernst & Young Master Entrepreneur of the Year.

Holly Wyatt, MD Retrofit Advisory Board Member

Holly is a medical director at The Center for Human Nutrition at University of Colorado. She has served as National Program Director for the Centers for Obesity Research and Education. She has conducted numerous research studies of the National Weight Control Registry's long-term reduced weight population, including resting energy expenditure, fat oxidation, total energy expenditure and activity levels, as well as understanding how diet composition (Atkins approach vs. a low-fat approach) affects long-term success in weight loss maintenance. She received her MD from Baylor College of Medicine and completed both an internal medicine residency and an endocrinology and metabolism fellowship at University of Colorado. She is board certified in both internal medicine and endocrinology, and has received both a National Service Research Award and a Patient-Oriented Research Career Development Award from the National Institutes of Health.

Bruce M. Cazenave CEO of Nautilus, Inc.

Bruce was appointed Chief Executive Officer and elected to the Board of Nautilus, Inc. in May 2011. From January 2010 until his appointment as Nautilus CEO, Mr. Cazenave served as Managing Director of Inflection Point Consulting, where he consulted with and served as an executive advisor to private equity firms in the U.S. and Europe. From 2006 to 2009, he worked for Central Garden & Pet Company, serving as President of its Garden Décor Group. He has also served as President & CEO of Dorel Juvenile Group, a subsidiary of Dorel Industries, Inc.; as a strategy consultant for Timex; and has held senior executive roles at Black & Decker and Timberland in the U.S. and Europe.

Wayne Cooper Publisher & Chairman of Chief Executive Group

Wayne oversees Chief Executive magazine and ChiefExecutive.net. He is also the Managing Director of Greenhaven Partners. He is Chairman of IOFM and Chief Executive Group as well as a member of the Board of Directors of Bongarde Media. He has served as Chairman of Pyramid Research, CEO of Kennedy Information, as well as the Chairman and CEO of Vizium. Previous to Greenhaven, Cooper was a consultant with Bain & Company and Monitor Company and worked at Goldman Sachs and The World Bank. He has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Stanford University. Cooper is the past Chairman and President of the Specialty Information Publishers Association. He currently serves on the boards of several civic non-profit organizations, and is an active member of Young President's Organization, AIPAC and various organizations that promote tolerance education throughout the world.

Jeffrey Yordon CEO, President, Founder and Chairman of the Board at Sagent Pharmaceuticals

Jeffrey brings more than 40 years of injectables pharmaceutical experience to his company. He gained this experience during a career path that included senior level executive positions with a wide variety of pharmaceutical companies, and he helped found Gensia Laboratories, LyphoMed, Faulding Pharmaceuticals, and American Pharmaceutical Partners (APP), now called Fresenius. Most recently, while at APP, he held the positions of President and Chief Operating Officer. He sat on the Boards of Directors of APP, Pharmaceutical Partners of Canada, Faulding Pharmaceuticals and Drug Source Company, as well as the Drug, Chemical & Associated Technologies Association. His loyalty to his alma mater, Northern Illinois University, is evident through his membership on the university’s Executive Committee of the Foundation Board, the Board of Directors of the Northern Illinois Executive Club, his participation as an Alumni Advisor to NIU’s Athletic Department, and by contributing as a regular visiting professor in the school of Business and Liberal Arts. He received his BA degree from Northern Illinois University. He received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2011 Midwest Award in the health sciences category. He is a Retrofit client.
